Three Campaign Themes
I - AWKWARD REUNION
Dwarves are long-lived and prone to nostalgia. A family of dwarves yearn to return to their ancestral Mother Mines for a once in a millennium dwarven holiday (Ukthabang - "Anvil Sound") only to discover time has not been kind to their place of origin.
It appears the Dwarves have dug too deep and become consumed by Chaos. A half-remembered aunty wants a hug!
Ask the group how theyre all related and what their relationship is like.
II - DELINQUENCY
Where's the fucking bag? You wake up in a trashed party house on a school day and your drugs are missing. Everyone remembers someone else carrying them. Now's not the time to point fingers, you need that bag or you're in deep shit with those corny motherfuckers The Freaks.
Or something... Play as youngsters in a hopeless town. These wannabe criminals meet the real deal and will have to grow up fast if they wanna live to see another day.
III - UGLY LAW
Bird-winged prisoners of a floating sky colony populated by bat-winged demons are forced to explore its underbelly. This can also be a desert colony with a necropolis or an astroid colony sealed off from former generations. The point is you are playing Prisoners being put into High Risk Situations.
Optionally: One of the PCs must be a demon warden for the angel detainees. They conduct downtime separately and are given secret goals for within the dungeon. If this Warden dies, another player is elected, one of the prisoner angels, and they are made to work against their allies. The prisoners sometimes have to deal with jailhouse politics, etc.
