Grove of the Gourd Dwarf

O(cean) D&D Report 10/24/26

I am a Stingray. Jet, they call me. My boy once called me dad, and as Jet Jr I called him JJ. He lost his life at the end of my stinger for being a chud loser.

On any other day I would have killed the lookers-on, too, or I would have only come with them in exchange for nanites but these guys were different - the group was diverse, they werent sticking with their own kind. This is exactly the kind of forward thinking we need to adopt.

We traveled some and met another group of stingrays. I hid, as they were after me... The feuding between my son and I is considered bad optics and us stingrays have an image problem.

What really proved to me the sheer power of this group was another stingray who rocked up to a big-ass scaleless fish. The octopus among us said it was from the surface.

This collosus told us off. Compared himself to a mountain. Ok, buddy, sure. It got us all fired up! If youre a mountain, Im a goddamned funicular (whatever that is).

We all got on its back and just went to town. We were fighting against being sucked into its gaping maw and giving it hell. It was a desperate struggle and it brought me and the octopus out from the sea but the thing went down. And there, in its eyes, were shinies for the taking... delicious power, I siphoned some up and it makes me feel indestructible.

A segregated Ocean is over. We showed the power of unity among the seadwellers... This is a New School of Fish altogether.
