Emerald Island
Long ago, the Island was a place populated by many gods, known as the Teuthi Danu, living gods of the land who were Children of Danu (Asmoth). Gods woven from the fabric of dreams. The Teuthi Danu enjoyed protection from the Emerald which kept the Island invisible, save for those who know the way home. One day, the Fomor rose from the sea, and were driven back. They no longer live in this land, but as a parting gift they spoke its name to the air and let it carry to the ears of the tribes in their infancy, who would call it Sitamoia.
When Hexer returned, during the Age of Nightmares, the Superhero Chu Chulane was gifted the spear Gay Bulge by the Teuthi Danu as they fled en masse, and he left the Island to save Rem.
When the Fomor returned after the Kill Em All, the immortal bandit youth Dob McCol drove the them out in a wild rage and sent them back into the sea. He soon grew bored with his life and left to cross the sea in search of new land.
On Emerald Island, the people call their home Sitamoia. They are a good spirited warrior culture who partake in a period of banditry as a coming of age. These people grow a special potato which fills the belly for three days.
The most prominent kingdom is called Doblan, ruled by The Willow King, Broce Opally. He is a fat and lazy king, once great, used to good times and peace. Among his retainers is a man named Fil Lynat, a brooding poet and a warrior. He is in love with a poor girl of black hair, named Rosalie, who has been chosen for sacrifice meant to keep to keep the Fomor away. He intends to ascend the Steeple Spire where she is being kept in bridal wear, ready to be given to the gods on the next full moon.
Meanwhile, someone wielding a raygun has come from a planet 3000 miles away. He warns of the Martian Men with their shields and their swords, who come to seek the Emerald.
