Amythex, the Not-So Local God of Griton

A giant amethyst coral 🪸 and the spirit within.

Amythex, Borrowed God of Buried People is the Local God of Godless Griton. Long ago, there was a group of survivors lost at sea from the Eastern Archipelago. They are said to have brought with them the lucky Zabda Birds who followed their ship. They established a community here which thrived on fishing the Purple Sea until the community was destroyed by the Spiralline Rail Company. However, the company witnessed the power of their Eastern God, Amythex, and made sure to take hold of the most important artifacts for calling him: A divine Trident and a Giant Pearl. When the two meet, Amythex is said to appear

There are counterparts to the Pearl and Trident that remain in the Eastern Archipelago. The Black Pearl and the Bident. It is said if all them come together, that the one who gathered them will channel the power of Amythex himself.

Order Force possesses the Pearl and they have it in their HQ. A young Elvan fisherman has the Trident, as a family heirloom.

However, Amythex is suffering the effects of the brutal civil war in the Eastern Archipelago, and while touching the Trident to the Pearl will call him over from the Eastern Archipelago, he will be in a weakened state. He can give advice but Amythex must be healed somehow or else he cannot grant major miracles at all.

As belief dwindles and blood is let in the Eastern Archipelago, the coral extends to Griton, where the rampant pollution damages the reef further.

That said, a hecatomb of fish will do just fine for receiving a blessed fishing trip or protection from drowning.

Receive Luck for casting large sums of money into the sea (at least 1 gc), for seeing a wild zabda bird, for tying a thousand knots, returning a fish to the sea, singing a shanty drunk and dancing on a table, getting a tattoo of an anchor and so on.

A major miracle would be an earthquake or tsunami, parting the sea, creating a gust of wind to carry the party anywhere in the world, drying up a lake.

Amythex is quite powerful but he might die if his worship is lost completely in the Island Wars of the Eastern Archipelago.
